the telephone gallery was a site-specfic project developed as a frustrated response to the lack of accessible or affordable spaces to show work for early-career artists. i took over the booth once in a while and installed something made of recycled materials or simply shoved something into it that would have ended in the trash anyway. this project remains one of my favourites in my work outside of photography. it began in late 2017 and it ended once i moved to glasgow in late 2019, making it one of the longest projects i have ever commited to
